Thanksgiving Floral Centerpiece
I love the colors of Fall with all its burnt oranges and earthy browns. There’s something deeply soothing about these colors as the weather turns crisp, drawing out an inner sense of warmth. We created a contemporary arrangement using some blooms that can be evergreen (forever lasting) such as the berry spray (branches) and scabiosa pods (round blooms). Dried flora and evergreen flowers are very popular right now and is ever more important to have as a decorating element during covid. Enjoy the components of this flower arrangement and see how we made it below!
FLORAL RECIPE
We used seasonal flowers that have evergreen qualities. We purchased these in the flower market, but these blooms (and similar) are available at your local grocer.
Top Row Left to Right: Scabiosa, Garden Rose,Scabiosa Pods
Bottom Row, Left to Right: Chrysanthemum (mum for short), berry spray
For this arrangement, we wanted to keep it a little more modern, drawing out the feeling of Fall with the branches and more structured items.
These blooms are beautiful as a centerpiece or as individual elements arranged in bud vases.
