You may be bitter over 2020, but we promise if you dig deep, you’ll find reasons to be thankful for this past year. We both wanted to share with you a little bit about what and who we are thankful for this year.
My fiance and I purchase a house earlier this year and on all counts, it’s our absolute dream home! What was not so dreamy about the house, was the powder room on the first floor that guests use. In fact, it was so terrible and bad that when friends and family saw it, they were scared to use it because they thought it was haunted. We did a big reno on the bathroom - see below for the big reveal!
For a separate new home project, I really wanted to use black and white floral as a wallpaper for an accent wall, but that was veto’d by my fiance. My compromise with him? Let me line our kitchen drawers with a modern, black and white floral print! I love the result, it makes the kitchen feel modern and new and every time I open a drawer, my heart fills with joy!

One of our favorite places to escape to is our very own wine county, Napa and Sonoma! We have had the honor of working there for so many celebrations and have come to love so many of the wineries and delicious restaurants that exist in the area. We recently went on a sisters trip for a small getaway and we wanted to share our itinerary with you, along with our favorites of the area in general!

We were looking for a little something to pull our August picnic tablescape together and decided to do a little DIY macrame to create a beautiful table runner.
